Nutrition Counselling

for those seeking compassionate & affirming support in eating disorder recovery

Improving your relationship with food

with supportive & individualised care

    Health at Every Size

I take a HAES® approach to eating disorders and disordered eating, affirming that people of all sizes, including those in larger bodies, deserve respectful healthcare. Health is influenced by many factors beyond weight, and my approach prioritises nourishment, health-promoting behaviours, and a positive relationship with food. I support clients in shifting their focus from weight control to sustainable habits that foster wellbeing.

I am deeply committed to challenging weight stigma and anti-fat bias while unlearning the societal norms that uphold them.

   Neuro-Affirming Care

My practice is firmly rooted in inclusivity, respect, and a nuanced understanding of the diverse ways neurodivergent brains and bodies experience food, eating, and nourishment. I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals navigating eating disorders, food challenges, and body concerns.

As a neurodivergent human myself, I am passionate about supporting clients in exploring how their sensory needs, executive functioning differences, and interoceptive awareness shape their relationship with food, eating, and their body.

   Trauma-Informed Care

I approach nutrition with sensitivity, compassion, and a deep respect for how past experiences shape your relationship with food and your body. I recognise how experiences of trauma impact our identities, how we move through the world, and the ways we respond to our experiences. Exploring how certain food and body behaviours can develop as a survival/trauma response is a powerful part of our work.

With a focus on choice, autonomy and slowing-it-down, my aim is to support you in rebuilding a sense of safety with food in a way that feels affirming.
